Workshop

We will have a communal workspace  in the city where people can work on their costumes. This will be open for one month leading up to the event, and some basic tools and materials will be provided. It will also be a space that donated materials can be dropped off to, to be used in the creation of the works.

Depending on demand, availability and funding, we might also be able to have some workshop sessions – for example in making head-dresses – run by experienced costumiers.

Also, we’ll have resources like DVDs to watch and books to look at for inspiration, along with an area to hang out and meet and network with other artists. We love facilitating new relationships, especially across different fields and genres.
